A carved Walnut armchair 'a la Reine'. Finely carved throughout with acanthus and scrolling foliage. The seat and backrest easily detachable to allow for a change of upholstery according to the seasons. With finely carved cabriole legs and scrolled toes. France or possibly German, Circa 1750.
